The end of the life places the man in front of big questioning: how will be my death? Shall I be alone or I can have with me the persons who are dear to me? Who waits for me after the death? Shall I be welcomed by the divine mercy? (…)

Whereas in the Middle Ages, we knew " the art to die ", today, even the Christians hesitate to speak about the death and to get ready to face it in an adequate way. To die in his sleep, to die fast, without realizing it, is not it often the death which seems to us the best?

(Jean Paul II, Message to the sick persons, Vienna, Austria).
